NZPA London The Auckland surfer, David Boonaerts, lost any chance of individual honours in the junior competition at the world championships in Cornwall yesterday. Boonaerts and Tauranga’s Wayne Lowen lined up in the same heat. Lowen finished second and progressed to the second round but Boonaerts’ third place put him out of the contest.
