Technical wins soccer
Classique Technical had its second Hertz Soccer League win in five days when it beat KLM Cashmere, 2-1, at English Park last evening. Having gone ahead in the first half, Technical increased its lead through Simon Myers mid-way through the second half. Cashmere managed to pull one goal back shortly after, through Angus. Neave. It was Neave’s fifth goal in the
league this winter. The win enabled Technical to move from seventh into fifth place in the league with 13 . points. The loss was Cashmere’s sixth in its eleven matches and puts it seventh on the table with 11 points. Last evening’s match , was brought forward from this Saturday, as Technical has a Le Coq Sportif Chatham Cup match in Dunedin this weekend.
