League rescheduled
The eleventh round of the Canterbury rugby league premiership which was postponed last Sunday has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 16. It was decided at a meeting of the Canterbury Rugby League last evening to play the postponed
matches on the spare Saturday at the end of the present round. The matches were postponed because of the wet, chilly weather on Sunday which brought snow showers and, with it, the risk of hypothermia.
