James Bond series released

Warner Bros is presenting the James Bond collection of films, including “A View to A Kill” the latest in the line-up. The list includes “Doctor No” (1962), “From Russia With Love” (1963), "Goldfinger” (1964), “Thunderball” (1965), “You Only Live Twice” (1967), “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” (1969). "Diamonds Are Forever” (1971), “‘The Man With The Golden Gun” (1974), “The Spy Who Loved Me” (1977), “Moonraker” (1979), “For Your Eyes Only” (1981), and “Octopussy” (1983).

The James Bond dossier makes interesting reading. He is 183 cm tall, weighs 76kg, has a scar down his right cheek and signs of plastic surgery on the back of his right hand. He is an expert pistol shot,

boxer, and knife thrower. Bond does not use disguises, speaks French and German, smokes heavily (a special brand with three gold stripes), drinks, but not to excess, and has one other vice — women. He is a dangerous professional spy who holds a secret service number with the 00 prefix — giving him a licence to kill.

The Bond ladies include Ursula Andress, Diana Rigg, Jill St John, Jane Seymour, Britt Ekland, Barbara Bach and Tanya Roberts.

Roger Moore and Sean Connery have both played James Bond — who is best remains a personal preference. This collection of movies has not dated and most are more entertaining on the second viewing.
