J. Hardie bid
PA Sydney James Hardie Industries, Ltd, announced it would offer SNZ2.7O (sAust2.o7) a share for the 28.25 per cent of its New Zealand unit, James Hardie Impey, Ltd, that it does not already hold.
There are 12.26 M out-
standing shares.
Hardie also announced a share alternative offer of three of its shares plus NZ2Oc (Aust26c) for every five Impey shares. Based on yesterday’s closing price of Hardie, the alternative offer values Impey at SNZ2.BB (sAust2.22) a share.
