Southland link for Lawrence Anderson Buddle
A prominent Southland accounting practice, Malloch McClean, has joined forces with the fast-grow-ing national firm, Lawrence Anderson Buddle.
On April 1 the two firms began “an association.” The association is described as a formal pooling of resources, not a merger “This new link has given us wider representation in the South,” said Mr David Gray, national managing partner at Lawrence Anderson Buddle. “We already have strong farming practices in both Dunedin and Christchurch.”
Malloch McClean, with offices in Invercargill and Gore, has a long history of service to the farming community. “But in today’s rural climate the need for expertise in financial control has never been stronger, and clients of
both firms will see many benefits,” said Mr Jack McClean, a partner in the Invercargill firm.
“We have retained our own identity, but have the advantages of belonging to a national group.”
Lawrence Anderson Buddle have five offices, in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, and Hamilton. “We are committed to our farming clients and have been looking to become associated with a progressive national firm to enable us to offer the best possible service," Mr McClean said. Malloch McClean will tap into the resources of Lawrence Anderson Buddle’s specialist areas of taxation, computer consulting, audit, customs and tariff advice, and general management advisory service.
