Decision soon by Holding
NZPA-Reuter St John’s The veteran West Indies fast bowler, Michael Holding, said yesterday he would make an official decision on his retirement from test cricket in July. Holding, aged 32, the most successful West Indies fast bowler, had said last month he would retire at the end of the current fifth and final test against England here. But Holding, who made his debut in 1975, has apparently been persuaded by the West Indies Cricket Board of Control (W.1.C.8.C.) to tour Australia and New Zealand towards the end of the year.
