Office sought for nurse
The Riccarton public health nurse may soon have an office in the Riccarton Borough office. The Riccarton Borough Council’s community affairs officer, Ms Susan Hodder, suggested to a meeting of the council’s community affairs committee last evening that room should be made available in the
offices. The nurse found it difficult to work in Riccarton while being based in the city, Ms Hodder said. Provision of a room in the council office would give local people better access to the nurse. Committee members decided to investigate the feasibility of providing a room for the nurse.
