Coetzee confident
NZPA-AFP Johannesburg The South African boxer, Gerrie Coetzee, the former World Boxing Association heavyweight champion, left Johannesburg yesterday for London and his controversial March 4 heavyweight title “eliminator” against Britain’s Frank Bruno. Coetzee said he was
confident he could win, although he had no illusions about the magnitude of the task ahead. “People don’t win on points against Bruno,” he said, “You have to knock him down to beat him. “Also any (anti-apart-heid) demonstrations in London will be against me and that is in Bruno’s favoqr.”
