Canty A XI takes under 18 tourney
Canterbury A was a clear winner of the South Island under 18 cricket tournament at Dunedin’ last week. The team had considerable batting strength. It fielded well, and had a sufficiently varied bowling attack to dismiss the opposition. Lack of runs hampered the Canterbury 3 team, but it was more assertive in its bowling and, like the A side, was sharp in the field. Results:—
