Not the first
The Rev. Phyllis Guthardt, who was last evening inducted as the President of the Methodist Church, is not the first woman to head a Church in New Zealand, a’s reported in “The Press,” yesterday. Dr Guthardt, minister of the Riccarton Methodist Parish, was inducted at the opening of the Methodist Church’s annual conference in New Plymouth.
