One appointee will be responsible for editing pricing schedules for the Consumers Price Index, while the other will be responsible for the editing, analysis and publication of the External Trade Price and Volume Indexes. Requirements for both positions: Ability to perform basic mathematical tasks, meet deadlines, have a broad appreciation of New Zealand’s trade and commercial affairs and communicate well. Qualifications: U.E. with English and Mathematics. Some tertiary qualification in mathematics, economics, commerce or statistics highly desirable. As part of a team covering the wide areas of public and environmental health, the successful applicant will be actively engaged in the family, community and school health services. Appropriate specialist qualifications, some experience and an Interest in these fields would be an advantage.
