The plant manufactures Cheese, Whey Products and Whey By-products. Reporting to the Regional Director at Corporate Centre, the successful candidate will be responsible for the continual development and implementation of al! company activities on the site, including production, financial control, personnel/industrial relations, procurement and research to achieve corporate profit and net return objectives. Experienced first-line managers support the position. REQUIREMENTS • Proven, successful experience in the general or operational management of a cheese making facility, backed by a sound knowledge of, and exposure to, modern 'state of the art' technology. • Experience in latest whey product processes is desirable. • A tertiary qualification in science/food technology or related studies is essential. • Leadership qualities with inter-personal skills to manage a specialist team, REWARDS: « A salary equivalent to SNZIOO,OOO-$NZ135,000 is . negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. » Benefits include performance bonus up to 25% of salary, in addition to the normal fringe benefits of a large international company. • Generous re-location expenses will be available for the appointee and family.
