Light plane crash-lands
PA Napier Two people escaped injury after their Cessna light aircraft crash-landed into a ditch at the Hawke’s Bay airport about 10 a.m. yesterday. Rescue fire services covered, the area with foam because fuel was leaking from the plane. The pilot, in his mid-30s, and a woman passenger were badly shaken but not hurt. An inspector of air accidents will report on the crash.
