‘Country G.P.” star Glenis Levestam is off to Australia this month to look for acting work. “After three series in a row I’m unlikely to get much television work here for a while. Radio’s fairly quiet at the moment. I’d love to do a film, but nothing’s been offered.” Miss Levestam, aged 48. who plays Evelyn Dalgeish in the soon-to-finish local drama series, said that while her two sons were young she could not really work out of Wellington. “But they’re old enough to cope without me for short spells now, so I’m going to become a trans-Tasman commuter for a while. I wouldn’t be able to do anything long-term though.” Her husband, Kevin Woodhill, has an adertising business, but has also worked as an actor (including a part as a hypnotist in an episode of “Country G.P.”). “He understands why I need to do this.” Miss Levestam said she had a sister living just out of Sydney and it would be nice to see her. She said she would be looking for work in Sydney and Melbourne.
