(Administering Body of Forum North Whangarei) WISHES TO ANNOUNCE THE NORTHLAND YOUTH THEATRE PLAYWRITING COMPETITION A prize of $2OOO is offered to the winning entry CONDITIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS (1) This competition is open to anyone normally resident in New Zealand. (2) The play should be full length with a large cast and suitable to be performed by young people between the ages of 14 to 21. Elements of music and dance may be incorporated but are in no way essential. The play should be clearly a New Zealad work. (3) The play should not have been performed to a paying audience at the time of submission to the competition. (4) The winning writer may be invited to take part in the production process, but this will be a matter of negotiation between the writer and Trust. (5) The Northland Community Trust reserves the right not to declare a winner. (6) The decision of the judging panel is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The judging panel will include theatre professionals. (7) Entries should be submited to:— The Director, Forum North, P.O. Box 929, Whangarei by not later than 4.30 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 1985 (8) The name of the entrant should not appear on the script but should be forwarded in a sealed envelope with the script.
