Eight choirs from around the city will be coming to the Cathedral during Saturday and Sunday this week-end. The members of each choir have arranged their own sponsorship and will sing at the Cathedral for a minimum of one hour. The Dean of Christchurch, Dr David Coles said today “The Churches and their Social Services have received a great deal of help from previous telethons, and this Is one way we can contribute. I hope members of the public will feel free to visit the Cathedral this week-end and hear the choirs singing." The following choirs are singing at these times: SATURDAY 9-10 a.m. Christs College Chapel Choir. 11-12 a.m. Lledertafel Choir. 2- p.m. Durham Street Methodist Choir. 3- p.m. Cecillan Singers.
