This was one of the entries in the 1984 Qantas Press Awards competition and is included in a collection of photographs and cartoons from the competition. The book is “Qantas New Zealand Press Awards,” (Beckett Publishing, Auckland, $14.95). This is the first time the competition entries have been made available in a book. In large format, the photographs are strikingly effective and the publication could well become an annual event.
