IN THE MATTER of the Reserves Act, 1977 IN THE MATTER Of the RICCARTON RACECOURSE RESERVE constituted under the provisions of the RICCARTON RACECOURSE RESERVE ACT 1878 being Reserve 79 (Canterbury Registry). WHEREAS pursuant to Section 41 of the Reserve Act 1977, the Trustees of the Christchurch Racecourse Reserve as administering body of Reserve 79 have duly constituted a management plan under the said Act such plan being approved by the Minister of Lands on the 31st day of August, 1983 AND WHEREAS for the better use and enjoyment of the said Reserve it is desired to erect living accommodation and stables with frontage to Yaldhurst Road on 4 allotments for leasing to trainers engaged in training and racing thoroughbred horses on the said Reserve AND WHEREAS it is not considered that any comprehensive review of the said management plan Is required save to provide for the uses aforesaid accordingly NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the proposed change and any person or organisation interested is hereby Invited to send to the Trustees of the Christchurch Racecourse Reserve at their offices care of P.O. Box 11137, Sockburn, Christchurch, suggestions on or objections to the proposed uses. Such suggestions or objections to be received by the said Trustees not later than Tuesday, the 4th day of June, 1985.
