New futures contracts
PA Wellington The New Zealand Futures’ Exchange will announce late this week its plans to offer three new contracts over its sole existing United States dollar contract, the chief executive, Mr Leonard Ward, said.
Mr Ward told Reuters he plans to set a start-up date for the long-delayed prime commercial paper contract and will also forecast the possible introduction 0* crossbred wool and share price index contracts later in 1985. i
The exchange opened in late January and originally scheduled the prime commercial paper contract for February.
