Veterans cycling
The South Island veterans cycle race, organised by the Temuka and Geraldine Cycling Club, was held on Sunday afternoon. The winner was P. Baines, of Christchurch, with L. Fibbons, also of Christchurch, in
second place. Next to finish were B. Ensor, of Timaru, and S. Keenan, of Timaru. The fastest time went to J. Cleary, of Christchurch, with J. Ryder, of Timaru, taking second fastest time.
