Rugby sponsorship
Sir,—ln view of the large numbers of organisations which are withdrawing sponsorship of rugby, it is surely time that those who believe in the tour should similarly cease their business association with them. It could be that those against are not as numerous as their vociferous minority suggests. Other black nations in Africa who persecute whole tribes cannot be compared with the relatively good financial treatment that incomers from other States receive in South lf our team includes some
Maoris and the Springboks have some blacks, the tour can only do good against apartheid. We cannot expect history to change overnight.—Yours, etc.,
