Pinocchio colouring contest
More than 750 artists, 80 musicians, 1500 shades of colour and one million drawings went into making Walt Disney’s animated classic, “Pinocchio.”
The epic fantasy, considered by many to be the most elaborate animated feature ever made, was first released in 1940, and will be screened again at the Cinerama during the May school holidays, begin-
ning next Saturday. In celebration of this event, Amalgamated Theatres is offering theatre tickets as prizes to young, modern-day artists who can colour the above picture of Pinocchio, Figaro and Jiminy Cricket. The entries will be judged in two age groups: from 4 to 8 years, and 9 to 12 years. The 20 entries in each section chosen as the best and neatest will each win a
double pass to see “Pinoc- X chio.”
This means that a total of 80 people will get to see the X film as a result of the ~ colouring competition. « Please send your entries • to: Pinocchio Colouring ! Competition, P.O.
