Undaunted by sabotage attempts, the business manager of the Lincoln College capping magazine, Ram, Fraser MacBeth, sells copies in Cathedral Square. Behind him is Rowina Manning, a bachelor of commerce and agriculture student. A group calling itself E.W.E. defaced thousands of copies of the magazine last Thursday. In spite of this, 38,000 copies of Ram went on sale in Canterbury. Part of the takings from the sales will go to three charities, including Disabled Skiers, the LincolnSpringston Plunket Association and the Family Court Association.
