Whitcoulls buy
Whitcoulls Group, Ltd, has bought one of New Zealand’s oldest family bookseller and stationery firms, Thomas Avery and Sons, Ltd, New Plymouth. Averys, a family-owned business established by a Taranaki settler, Mr Thomas Avery, in 1883, will be taken over by Whitcoulls on April 1.
