Self-defence for women
Sir, — I it not an indictment on our society that women must be taught how to defend themselves
against being attacked by men - that women of all ages are afraid to live alone, walk across parks alone or go out after dark for fear of being molested? Should the reverse situation be true, one wonders if men would attend similar classes in self-defence. I think not. Women would be smartly brought into line and taught not to attack or molest men. — Yours, etc., G. McINNES, Diamond Harbour. March 13, 1985.
