Brown—Mawson: Geoff and Pat Mawson, of Pakowhai, Napier, have much pleasure in announcing the engagement of their only daughter,’ Helen Elizabeth, to Ross Alexander, son of Ron and. the late Barbara Brown, of flam, Christchurch. Collings—Waugh: Arthur and Doreen Waugh have much pleasure in announcing the engagement of their daughter, Catherine Patricia, to Paul Ashley, eldest son of Ashley and Jeanine Collings.
Dean—Macßae: Tony and Wendy Macßae have much pleasure in announcing the engagement of their daughter, Sandra, to Grant, the son of Colin and Christine Dean. Elder—Wynveld: Mr and Mrs D. J. Wynveld have pleasure in announcing the engagement of their younger daughter, Sophia, to John, son of Mr and Mrs D. Elder. Gibbons—Arnold: Susan Arnold, of Christchurch, and Michael Gibbins, of Chorleywood, England, having solved the international barrier are delighted to announce to their families and friends their engagement. Lawrence —Ainsworth: The engagement is announced between Patricia Frances, eldest daughter of Mr H. V. Clark and the late Mrs V. F. Clark, of Levin, and Roderick Dudley Gwynne Lawrence, son of Mr and Mrs A. G. Lawrence, of Mt Hilton, Hawarden.
