A penny no more
One of the world’s rarest postage stamps, an unused 1861 Bermuda penny stamp, has been sold for £33,000 ($80,190). One of only five known to exist, the blue stamp features a red crowned circle with the words “paid at Hamilton, Bermuda.” It was found by a Sotheby’s expert in Copenhagen.—London.
