The continuing expansion of the firm s activities has led to the creation of design management positions in our Auckland office, for Engineers and Designers who have the technical experience to lead designs and who have the potential to progress further into an expanding variety of project management activities. These are each key positions with considerable scope for advancement. STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING MANAGERS Applicants should be registered professional engineers with at least 10 years’ postgraduate experience, and the ability to produce cost-effective and innovative designs. The positions involve design anb management of structural-based multidisciplinary projects, from inception to completion, including client contact at all stages, reporting to a Project Director. Responsibilities will also include coordination with other disciplines of the firm and business administration. These are management positions, with the potential for further advancement within the firm. CHEMICAL ENGINEER Applicants should have a degree in chemical engineering with five to 10 years’ industrial experience to lead design and project management of multidisciplinary projects. Experience in food processing or pulp and paper projects would be relevant. PIPING ENGINEER Candidates for this position should have a BE (Mechanical) degree with five years' experience or more in piping system design. AUTUMATIUN ENGINEER Applicants should have a mechanical or electrical/electronics engineering degree and five to 10 years’ experience. Candidates should be capable of leading multidisciplinary projects in factory automation and process control. SENIUR PIPING DESIGNER Applicants should have NZCE or equivalent and approximately 10 years’ experience in piping design. The successful candidate must have detailed knowledge of accepted piping design procedures and be capable of directing other design staff.
