Heaphy Track .protection
The Organisation to Preserve the Heaphy Track has been reactivated after a Ministry of Works decision to reassess the feasibility of a road through the track area. A spokesman for the organisation, Mr N. R. Fitz-
gerald, said that a recent meeting showed there was solid support for the reactivation of the group. Mr Fitzgerald said the structure within O.P.H.T. had been maintained and was capable of quick motivation.
