No Bill tender again

PA Wellington No Treasury Bill tender will be held again this week, the Reserve Bank announced. It is the fourth successive week the tender has not been required. The bank said its forecasts of cash influences and primary liquidity for the period ’ March 13-19 indicated that no sales of bills could be planned, as large tax withdrawals to Government were expected. However, the bank still retained the option of using sales of short-dated instruments out of portfolio where this action was warranted in light of Reserve Bank liquidity support over the coming week
