Boilers, handling gear
Bart Engineering Company (Chch), Ltd, will have four different aspects of their work on display at the
show. Various types of conveyor systems will be shown, such as screw conveyors, belt
conveyors and gravity conveyors. A photographic display of various boiler installations
will illustrate the firm’s boiler installation and repair work. Coal handling is a major part of Bart’s manufacturing, from design to installation, and examples of this will be shown by a working system and a display of photographs. The firm also specialises in the manufacture and installation of all systems used in the freezing industry. On display will be one of each of Bart’s designs of meat rail switch and gambel change-over switch, along with photographs of various rendering systems.
