Hallmark in top form for Forbury Park

Special correspondent Dunedin My Hallmark should maintain his good form in the Champion Sanyo Handicap, the second leg of the T.A.B. double at the Forbury Park Trotting Club’s meeting tomorrow evening. My Hallmark has won twice and finished second from three starts this season. He was untroubled to win over 2600 m at Gore last Friday after making the pace. He recorded a win and a close second to Earl Don at the Invercargill meeting last month. Majestic Wings and Vicki McQuade look the most likely to test My Hallmark. Majestic Wings won fresh up at Forbury Park in August and she has been placed in two subsequent starts. She came from an awkward position for third to Naomi and Pebble in a race for mares and fillies at Gore last Friday. Vicki McQuade won atForbury Park in August. Maniapoto, a stablemate of Majestic Wings — both are trained by Ron Barron at Makarewa — is a leading fancy for the first leg of the T.A.B. double. Maniapoto has been placed in his three starts this season, including a second to Vicki McQuade. Jbt: 8 Tab: FN Race 1 6.5 MUSSELBURGH BUTCHERY HANDICAP TROT $1900; Cl; trotters; 2700 m
