Access to gallery

Sir,—Why should the disabled members of our society be denied access to our two main art galleries? With some thought, expertise and good will put to the problem it could surely be solved. This lack of initiative, procrastination and lethargy on the part of our City Council is also reflected in its inability to stop our beautiful old buildings from being razed. One or two of them could have been used for a new art gallery. — Yours, etc.,

MARY PLUNKETT. October 3, 1984.
