Motherhood
Sir,—lf you feel that your parents did a good job of bringing you up, why not emulate their methods? I have exceptional parents whom I admire very much. My mother is one of the strongest women I have ever met. Of course I reject what felt wrong and retain what felt right. That is why I am happy to work — it never felt wrong to me to have a working mother. I do not need people to tell me when I am hurting my children. I can see that for myself. Children may feel that all kinds of inappropriate behaviour are “right.” It is up to an adult to decide what is and what is noLTßeing non-judg-
