Mr Max Trumper, an electrical engineer with the Kaiapoi Borough Council checks an 11,000 volt electrical cable which was accidentally unearthed during preparations on the site of the new Kaiapoi Library. The 398sq m building, which will face Raven Street, was designed by Lucking, Vial and Bellerby. It will be built by Bremner Smith Contracts, Ltd, at a cost of $130,000. The building should be finished by March next year.
