Andrei wins 1984 Adios Pace
ANDREL, a striking Nero colt, won the 1984 Adios pace beating the best 3-year-old pacers in the United States. Despite the adverse weather conditions and sloppy track An? drel turned in a 1:54.2 performance on the 5/8 mile track. The Adios Pace, one of the most prestigious Grand Circuit events was won by Nero himself in 1975. Another son of Nero, Higher Power (a three-quarter brother to Clever Innocence) won in 1982. Clever Innocence, the first son of Nero to stand in N.Z., enters his third . season at Neville Benny’s Spring Park Stud, Telephone 295-635 Christchurch. His first crop have just turned yearlings. Indications are that he will again have a large book ’as many breeders with Clever Innocence.yearlings are booking this season. Clever Innocence’s stud fee is a competitive $7OO which is extremely good value when compared to the new season sires. Advt
