Second SIM lottery
PA Wellington The second lottery with a $1 million first prize will go on sale on Monday, said the •Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr Tapsell, yesterday. The Million Dollar Miss New Zealand Show Lottery will offer 10,049 prizes totalling $3,850,000, he said. The lottery odds will be one in 25 and tickets will be $25 each. Profits will help medical research bodies, including the Foundation for the Newborn, the Asthma Foundation, the Neurological Foundation, the Cancer Society and the Heart Foundation. ./-'The top prize .Jjbf $1 will be near
the end of the “Miss New Zealand” show on September 1. It will be televised live.
There will be two prizes of $lO,OOO to the tickets, one off the main winner and a further two of $5OOO for those two off. A further 100 of $5OO will be given to those up 50 off either side of the main prize. During the show there will also be a draw for four prizes of $lOO,OOO with eight further prizes of $2500 for the one-off tickets on either side. Those top draws will total $1.5 million. There will also be two bonus draws in the following week with top pities of $250,000 and $150,000.
