Nassella gets around
Nassella tussock has been found in two unusual places in Christchurch in recent months, the Canterbury coordinating committee on nassella tussock was told in Ashburton yesterday. A noxious plants officer found 28 nassella tussocks planted in a display area round a Christchurch motor-
cycle shop. The shop-owner was not immediately impressed with the suggestion to burn the weeds, but later agreed. A furniture show at the Horticultural Hall was also decorated with nassella tussock, another officer told the committee.
