Lightning deaths

Thirteen black girls were killed and 27 injured when lightning struck a hut where they were attending a tribal initiation school over the week-end near the small town of Pilgrims’ Rest, 369 km east of Johannesburg. The hut collapsed in flames when, hit by lightning. Twenty-seven girls were treated in hospital for multiple burns, and 58 escaped injury. — Johannesburg.
