Factory Engineer New Plant Neg Salary plus car Christchurch Our client, North’s Bakery Limited, has recently moved into new premises in the Harewood district of Christchurch. Bakery equipment includes the latest available to the industry, embodying sophisticated control and monitoring systems. The Factory Engineer will be responsible to the General Manager for plant and equipment maintenance and repair. Amongst the particular responsibilities of the position will be the supervision of a small group of tradesmen, planning and scheduling work, providing technical backup to tradesmen, controlling costs of maintenance, etc. The Factory Engineer will liaise closely with the Production Manager and with suppliers of specialised equipment to the factory. Applicants should be experienced in maintenance activities in a production environment and have already had supervisory responsibility.
