Freight to Aust. up
PA Auckland Two shipping companies have increased freight rates after the 20 per cent devaluation. The Shipping Corporation of New Zealand, Ltd, has made a 12.23 per cent increase in westbound cargoes on its Tasman container service. The Pacific Forum Line has increased freight rates to Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu by 18 per cent, and to Fiji, Samoa and Tonga by 15.5 per cent.
