Nth Canty wins golf

North Canterbury maintained its supremacy against Central Canterbury in the annual golf contest between the two senior teams, winning, 18-14, at Weedons on Sunday. Central Canterbury at least improved on the 1983 result, when it lost; 21%10%, and it had the satisfaction of scoring three and a half points from the possible four in the top two positions. Graeme Gunn, as he did last year, remained unbeaten and Simon Robinson had an easy win against John Reid before halving with Finn Hobbs. The Central Canterbury junior team, however, maintained its advantage over the North Canterbury junior
