Honeymoon flights from Japan

PA Wellington Japanese honeymooners are part of the reason Air New Zealand will double its 747 flights to and from Tokyo this summer. Two Boeing 747 flights a week will run from November for five months, the airline announced yesterday. Last summer, Air New Zealand ran an expanded service for four months. The route manager for the Orient and Pacific Islands, Mr Graham Ward, said the additional service would provide for the increasing number of Japanese wanting to visit New Zealand during its summer, “particularly honeymooners,” and also provide an improved service to Japan for New Zealand holidaymakers and business travellers.
