Chase backs planned float

PA Auckland Chase Corporation, Ltd, is involved in the planned public float of Baker Group Corporation, Ltd, the holding company for Dye Industries, which has a large engineering works in Auckland. Chase announced it was putting up cash of $1,141,000 as part of the move to restructure and float Vogue Corporation, Ltd, under the

name of Baker Group, Ltd. An extraordinary meeting of Vogue shareholders will be held next month to approve changes paving the way for the new public issue.

After the reorganisation, Baker Group will have 7.2 million shares on issue, while Chase and existing Baker shareholders will hold a majority of the ordinary capital.
