Electoral rolls

Sir,—Why all the fuss about the 250,000 New Zealanders who are not on the electoral roll? The law states that every person over the age of 18 who has resided in a place for more than three months has a mandatory obligation to enrol. If they have not done so, then they are breaking the law, and have nobody to blame but themselves. — Yours, etc., Mrs G. L. SEYMOUR June 26, 1984.
