Systems all right —Mr Jones
PA Wellington The New Zealand Party’s spokesman, Mr Bob Jones, has criticised the Prime Minister’s new Bretton Woods campaign, saying' there is nothing wrong with existing world financial relationships and systems. Mr Jones said the problems perceived by Sir Robert were non-existent, which was why he was “being rejected in Europe and North America.” He claimed there was a real danger that Sir Robert “could become perceived as a crank by world political and financial leaders, with a resulting reluctance to deal with this country in other important areas.” “He has no policital mandate at home for this international posturing, which if not desisted will reduce this country to a laughing stock,” Mr Jones said.
