Visit by asthma expert
Sports to help asthmatics is the main interest of an Australian asthma researcher, Dr David Lindsay, who will arrive in Christchurch next week. The director of the Respiratory Laboratory at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, Dr Lindsay is recognised as a world ex-
pert on asthma induced by exercise.
He will be talking to general practitioners in the four main centres about the part suitable sports could play in helping asthma sufferers and their breathing capabilities. The educational seminars in Christchurch will be held on Tuesday.
