Lamas visit Chch
Christchurch will be visited by three Tibetan Lamas next week. The trio is on the New Zealand leg of a world tour, giving public lectures on Buddhism. Leading the group will be Ven. Geshe Dhargyey, who has attained the highest doctorate in the Tibetan system. For the last decade he has taught every aspect of Mahayana Buddhism to thousands of students from
throughout the world at the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives in Northern India. New Zealand is the last country the Lamas will visit before returning to India next month. The Christchurch lecture will be held on February 15 at the State Trinity Centre, at the corner of Worcester Street and Manchester Street.
