Ambreed expands

New Zealand’s largest private operator in the artifical insemination industry, Ambreed N.Z’, Ltd, is expanding operations in the South Island. It has appointed Mr W. G. (Bill) Cameron, of Leeston, as assistant sales manager, South Island, according to the South Island sales manager, Mr John McNeill. Mr McNeill said the company had observed forecasts for substantial growth in dairy cow numbers in the South Island. Mr Cameron has a wide experience in dairy farming, his own 175-cow herd and has been trained as an inseminator by Ambreed. Also Mr Ray Hocking, Hoon Hay Valley, has been appointed an Ambreed representative for the greater Christchurch area.
